| Career Fairs and Events
Each semester the Career Center coordinates numerous fairs and events related to employers recruitment efforts. These events can assist you in finding qualified candidates and branding your name on campus.
Career Networking Fair
This is our campus-wide career fair for full-time, Co-op and internship opportunities with companies, non-profit organizations and government agencies. From 150 to 200 organizations and 1800 job seekers attend this fair. This fair is held at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters and is co-sponsored with the USF Alumni Association.
“Prepare for the Fair” Event
This event is held each semester the week prior to the Career Fair to prepare students for the Fair. Employers are invited to present a career topic (eg: interviewing, job searching). This is a great recruitment strategy for organizations wanting to increase their visibility on campus and “brand” their name with students! Internship & Part-Time Job Fair
This fair is held each September and April. The fair provides an excellent opportunity for you to meet with potential candidates for your part-time and/or summer position needs.
Public Service
Career Fair
This new career fair, typicall held during spring semester, provides employers from government, health care,
law enforcement, non-profit and other public service organizations the
unique opportunity to discuss full-time and internship opportunities with
USF students and alumni.
Big East e-Fairs and Big East Career Fair
e-Fairs: The Big East Career Consortium offers two e-Fairs, one in the Fall and Spring. Both e-Fairs offer internships, Co-op, and full-time, professional positions to the students and alumni of participating colleges and universities of the "Big East" Conference schools. Previous Big East e-Fairs have set records in numbers of participating employers and candidates.
What is an E-Fair? An e-fair is an entirely Internet based job fair. Employers submit information about their organizations and hiring needs, and candidates search for positions online and submit resumes directly to employers.
Big East Career Fair for full-time professional positions is held in New York City in the spring and open to all sudents and alumni from the Big East Conference schools. The spring e-fair for full-time professional positions typically begins soon after the Career Fair.
Professional Etiquette Dinner
This event offers USF students and alumni an opportunity to polish their dining etiquette skills. While this is not a recruiting event for employers, sponsorships are available for organizations that would like to increase their name recognition on-campus. Statewide Job Fair
This event, coordinated by all the Florida state university career centers is held in mid-May at the University of Central Florida Arena. Contact UCF in April for registration information.
