Virtual Video Interview
The Virtual Video Interview is an on-line virtual interview system used by the USF Career Center and powered by InterviewUSA. It allows you to view a digital recording of candidates articulating their skills, work experiences and career interests. If you don't have the staff, recruitment resources or the time for an on-campus pre-screening interview, then a Virtual Video Interview schedule is the next best thing.
Features and Benefits of a Virtual Video Interview:
- VVI uses a “virtual interviewer” who asks questions typically used in a pre-screening interview. The database contains 200 commonly asked interview questions from which you can customize your VVI.
- The candidate's responses to these questions, which can be viewed in less than 7 minutes, are recorded and stored on a secure VVI website.
- The candidate’s resume, which includes the URL to their VVI, provides you access to the website where the VVI is stored.
- It’s more convenient than videoconferencing which requires special equipment, scheduling, and more of your time.
- The VVI is not meant to take the place of a face-to-face interview but provides you with a convenient, cost-effective way to maximize your resources in the pre-screening phase of the interview process.
COST-EFFECTIVE: It's FREE--and there's no need for expensive equipment as there is for videoconferencing. All you need is an updated Media Player (free download).
CONVENIENT: Available 24/7 from any location with web access. No need for a designated location.
EFFICIENT: Share the VVI with colleagues involved in the pre-screening interview decision.
