Internships

Internships are one-semester work experiences which provide students the opportunity to gain career-related skills in a real-world work setting, and provide employers an opportunity to observe the intern’s performance, with the possibility of future employment.

Internships can be paid or unpaid and may be considered for academic credit. Internships for credit must be coordinated through an academic department, supervised by a faculty member, and the student must be enrolled in a formal internship course.

The Career Center does not administer formal internships programs nor offer academic credit for internships. Students and employers must coordinate internship credit through the student's academic department.
 
The Career Center serves only as a clearinghouse for advertising and promoting internships. If you're looking for an intern, you may also wish to consider our Cooperative Education program.
