Career Center Events and Programs

CAREER/JOB FAIRS

Big East Career Fair and e-Fairs (open to all students and alumni from the Big East Conference Schools).

  • Big East Career Fair for full-time professional positions. Held in New York City in the spring.
  • Big East e-Fair for full-time professional positions. Begins soon after the Big East Career Fair.
  • Big East e-Fair for Cooperative Education and Internships. Begins in the fall.

Career Networking Fair: Network face-to-face with local and national employers interested in hiring USF students and graduates for full-time, Co-op and internship positions. Free of charge to USF students and alumni with valid USF ID. Business attire required.

NACE International Student Virtual Career Fair: For International students currently studying in the United States attending NACE-member colleges and universities who:

  • wish to return to their home country for full-time or internship opportunities,
  • are currently pursuing one-year Optional Practical Training (OPT) opportunities in the United States, and/or
  • are currently pursuing summer Curricular Practical Training (CPT) internships in the United States

Part-time Job Fair: Talk to employers looking for USF students for their part-time or summer positions.Free of charge to USF students. Casual attire okay.

Public Service Fair: Talk to employers from government, healthcare, law enforcement, non-profit and other public service fields about full-time, Co-op and internship positions. Free of charge to USF students and alumni with valid USF ID. Business attire required.

Statewide Job Fair: Held in Orlando every May for graduates of the ten Florida State universities: Florida A&M, Florida Fulf Coast, UF, USF, Florida Atlantic, FIU, UCF, UNF and UWF.


PROGRAMS/SPECIAL EVENTS

Business Etiquette Dinner: Presented by a certified business etiquette trainer, this event is a fun, non-threatening way to learn business etiquette skills while enjoying a full-course meal! Pre-paid reservations are required.

On-campus Interviews: Interview with top Tampa Bay organizations, Fortune 500 companies and government agencies right here on campus. Career Connections account required.

Cooperative Education: A USF course administered by the Career Center that integrates hands-on, paid, career-related work experience with your academic program. Offered part-time or full-time. Career Connections account required.
